Several Misunderstandings in the Use of Explosion proof Dehumidifiers
Ansmen

In special environmental conditions, such as corrosive, constant temperature and humidity, flammable and explosive and other special industry environments, conventional dehumidifiers cannot meet the dehumidification effect and safety. However, explosion-proof dehumidifiers, as a collection of ordinary dehumidifier designs, are being developed in series to remove moisture from the air and are becoming increasingly widely used. During use, most users may encounter different usage errors. Have you been hit?

Misconception 1: The explosion-proof dehumidifier has arrived, please try turning it on directly.

It is best not to use the newly purchased explosion-proof dehumidifier immediately, but to let it sit for 4-6 hours before turning it on.

During transportation and loading and unloading, the bumps during transportation can cause the refrigerant inside the compressor to shift. If the compressor is turned on immediately, it may not work properly or the machine may run, but the dehumidification efficiency may be poor or the noise may be loud. The static explosion-proof dehumidifier is designed to allow the refrigerant in the compressor to return to its original position, and then it can be used normally. If the explosion-proof dehumidifier needs to be moved during use, it is necessary to ensure that the tilt angle during transportation is not greater than 45 °, so that it does not need to be placed quietly after each transportation. When collecting a dehumidifier, be careful not to place it upside down or on its side, and handle it with care to avoid collision and hinder the next use.

Misconception 2: The placement of explosion-proof dehumidifiers is not important.

How to place the dehumidifier in the correct position? It is important to pay attention to the placement of the dehumidifier, preferably in a well ventilated area. In addition, there should be enough space around the dehumidifier and no items should be stacked.

Place it in a non ventilated area where humid air cannot pass through and dry air cannot exit, which can affect the dehumidification effect of the dehumidifier. Therefore, it should be placed in a well ventilated area or in a relatively wide and unobstructed area. When placing the dehumidifier, it is also necessary to choose a relatively flat and hard ground. Do not place the machine on soft or uneven ground to prevent noise or vibration.

Misconception 3: Explosion proof dehumidifiers do not require closing doors or windows to operate.

Before using an explosion-proof dehumidifier to start working, close the doors and windows of the room as much as possible to form a relatively enclosed space, which can effectively reduce the entry of outdoor humid air.

Misconception 4: Explosion proof dehumidifiers are not afraid of cold.

The normal operating temperature of explosion-proof dehumidifiers is between 20 ℃ and 38 ℃. If used outside the normal temperature, the dehumidification effect will be affected. When used below 18 ℃, the explosion-proof dehumidifier will frost or freeze, and the dehumidification ability will decrease after frosting or freezing. Continued use will affect the service life of the dehumidifier. Generally, defrosting is equipped with automatic defrosting function. Even dehumidifiers without defrosting function can be manually defrosted by powering off. In fact, after setting the "automatic defrosting" function, the general explosion-proof dehumidifier will automatically run "automatic defrosting" when the ambient temperature is below 20 ℃. The dehumidifier defrosts for approximately ten minutes per hour. When the frost is too thick, the defrosting time will also be correspondingly prolonged, and the defrosting and dehumidification opportunities will affect the circulation of the air inlet and outlet, resulting in a decrease in dehumidification efficiency.

Misconception 5: Dehumidifiers do not require maintenance.

Explosion proof dehumidifiers should regularly clean the air ducts (inlet and outlet) or filter screens. Prolonged use of the dehumidifier can cause blockage at the inlet, leading to uneven air intake. If the air does not enter the dehumidifier, it will directly affect the dehumidification effect. Therefore, it is necessary to regularly clean the air ducts and filter screens of the machine. When cleaning the filter screen, make sure that the machine power is unplugged to avoid any problems that may arise when disassembling the filter screen and ensure personal safety.

Misconception 6: No matter how much power supply voltage, plug it in and use it.

Before use, it is necessary to confirm that the power supply voltage is 220V, 50Hz. Try to use dedicated sockets as much as possible, strictly prohibit the use of porous sockets, ensure that the sockets are grounded, and strictly prohibit the abnormal folding of excess power lines. When plugging in, clean the power plug thoroughly. When cleaning the dehumidifier, turn off the power first. When not in use for a long time, the power should also be turned off. When unplugging, do not pull the power cord to unplug the plug. Do not plug in when your hands are wet. Do not use unplugging or plugging in to control the start and stop of the dehumidifier. When moving an explosion-proof dehumidifier, be careful not to damage the wires.!
